I hope this post finds you merry. Yes, you can choose to be happy... or "slightly drunk". Or you can be drunk in love, or in love with Christmas, or drunk for Christmas...or just not in the mood for Christmas.
For those of you who are not so enthusiastic about this holiday, I don`t blame you. Nowadays, Christmas became so commercialized, we don`t respect traditions anymore, we forget to spend quality time with our families, we are buying presents but we are not PRESENT.
Enough with drama, speaking about it won`t solve it, we have to act. Let`s speak about giving. Choosing and finding the perfect present was never easy, especially now at this time of year. If you are looking for a gift for your family members, life partners, friends, colleagues, here is my guide.
Do your research on what she/he prefers. Some people like something that can use right away: eatable, drinkable or cash, others are picky. There are 3 ways you can approach: ask someone that knows that person for a long time, stalk them on social media or be frank and ask that person face to face what he wants.
Give gifts that won`t be thrown away. Come up with something original, creative and fun. Here are few ideas:
1.Winter related gifts
Baby, it`s cold outside and you know Santa has your back. Why not purchase some cozy, fluffy accessories or clothing pieces?
Choose a simple item and customize it. This way, you stimulate your creativity and you`ll surprise your beloved ones. You can personalize a coffee cup, a 2016 planner, an agenda, a photo frame, holiday decor, ornaments. Just find the perfect present and make it awesome.
People love memories, taking pictures of everything, selfie, pictures again and of course they cherish those in the pictures.
Reading allows you to travel back in time or in the mysterious future and you get knowledge. That`s why, giving a book as a present is perfect: choose one with hardcover or be modern and try the audio-books on http://audible.co.uk. All you have to figure out is what types of books he/she likes. Here is my choice for someone interested in reading about fashion and culture:
Gift vouchers/coupons are an excellent selection. If she loves to buy beauty products and you don`t know what exactly to get for her, just find the online shop she uses and buy her a gift voucher. Same for him, if he loves to workout - buy a coupon he can use to buy sport equipment.
7.Chocolate
Yes, i vote for chocolate. You know why? Because I trust John Q. Tullius judgement: “9/10 people like chocolate. The tenth person always lies.”
